Most mobile repair runs one van out of one address, so "near me" means however far that van has to drive. Ours does not work that way. Our technicians live across San Diego County and work from where they are, which is why same day is often possible and why coming to you costs nothing extra.
This is the most common misunderstanding about how Dent Time works. People see an Escondido address and picture a technician loading a van in Escondido and driving an hour to reach them. That is not the arrangement. Our technicians live in San Diego County, spread across it, and they work mobile from wherever they are that morning.
It matters for two reasons that show up on your invoice and your calendar. Coming to you is not charged extra anywhere on the route, because nobody is absorbing a cross-county drive. And same-day is genuinely possible far more often, because the question is whether a technician near you has a slot, not whether one can get across the county before dark.
So the shop is not the starting point for your repair. The people are, and they are already out here.

Neither path changes the price and neither changes the standard. A door is $197 to $500 in your driveway and $197 to $500 in the shop. What moves a number is the panel, the depth and the access. Never the address.

That work is mobile across the same route, done by the technician who handles the paint side of the business rather than the metal side. A dented corner with the paint intact starts at $250, and a scratched corner that needs refinishing starts at $395 and up. A deeper scratch through the paint runs $550.
