Where We Go

San Clemente and South.

The bumper route starts at San Clemente and runs south. That is a shorter reach than our paintless dent route, and the reason is time rather than distance. A refinish means masking, mixing, spraying, and cure time in your driveway, so it holds a technician for most of a day.

San Clemente

The northern limit of the bumper route. Corner scuffs from angle parking and garage posts are the everyday job.

Talega

Driveway work, level ground, and room to mask off. Close to ideal conditions for a mobile refinish.

San Onofre

The stretch between San Clemente and the base gate, where the route crosses into San Diego County.

And Straight On Down the Coast

South of San Clemente the route crosses Camp Pendleton and runs into North County San Diego, which Dent Time has covered from the Escondido shop for years. Same technician standard, same published numbers, one continuous stretch of coast.

Two Photos Is the Whole Ask

A Real Bumper Number, Back in Minutes.

One photo of the whole bumper, one close up of the damage. That is enough for an honest quote.

What We Fix

Scuffs, Cracks, and Curbed Corners.

Bumper covers are plastic, not metal, and they behave nothing like a panel. Plastic has memory, takes controlled heat, and can be bonded from behind. That is why a bumper is very often repairable when it looks past saving.

Corner scuffs and scrapesThe most common bumper job there is. Garage posts, angle parking, and pillars.

How It Works

Four Steps, One Visit.

Structure first, color last. A repair that goes straight to paint is the one that fails in a year.

01

Photo Read

Text photos of the corner or the crack. You get an honest quote and a time estimate back in minutes, free.

02

The Plastic

Gouges filled, edges trued, cracks bonded from behind. The structure comes back before any color is mixed.

03

Factory Code

Color mixed to your vehicle paint code, then sprayed and blended on site. A tri-coat takes more stages than a flat color.

04

Direct Light

Match and blend checked in direct light before the keys come back. You look at it before you pay for it.

Real Numbers

What Bumper Repair Actually Costs.

The same published numbers we charge across San Diego County. There is no separate Orange County rate.

Bumper Dent, Paint Intact
$250 to $300
1 to 2 hours

Plastic has memory. Controlled heat and pressure from behind bring the shape back, and nothing is refinished, so color never enters the price.

Corner Scuff or Scrape
$395 to $600
2 to 4 hours

The most common bumper job there is. Price follows the color, the depth, and whether the plastic is punctured or torn. A tri-coat finish takes more stages than a flat color.

Cracks or Full Refinish
$550 to $750
3 to 4 hours

Larger damage, cracks bonded from behind, or a full bumper refinish. Structure comes back first, then color.

What moves the number: the color and finish, how deep the damage runs, and whether the plastic is punctured or torn. A tri-coat or pearl takes more stages than a flat color, which is the single biggest swing in a bumper quote. See the full bumper repair page.

What Happens Next

From Your Photo to a Finished Bumper.

From the first photo to the keys back, here is the whole sequence.

  1. Minutes

    You text two photos

One of the whole panel, one close up. A technician reads them and sends back a real range, usually within minutes.

  2. Same day

    You pick a time

Online or by text. Same-day and next-day slots are often open, and you are never handed to a call centre.

  3. Before we go

    Your tech studies the job

The technician personally reviews your photos and details before leaving, so nobody arrives guessing at what is behind the panel.

  4. On the day

We come to you, or you come to us

Mobile across South Orange County, from San Clemente south, or drop the vehicle at the Escondido shop when the repair needs controlled light and full access.

  5. Then it is done

    Factory finish, no record

No filler, no repaint, and nothing on the Carfax. You look at the panel before you pay for it.

Where We Stop

What We Will Not Do.

We will not spray over a structural crack. If a cover is torn through in a way that cannot be properly bonded, it needs replacing, and you will be told that instead of sold a refinish that telegraphs back through in a year.

We will not work in wind or open sun if it will cost you the finish. Wind carries dust into wet paint and direct sun changes how it flashes off. If your location cannot give us shelter on the day, we reschedule rather than hand back a job we would not accept ourselves.

We will not quote a color we have not seen. Photos are how the paint code, the finish type, and the depth get read. It is also why the number that comes back is one we can hold to.

Bumper Repair, Answered

The Questions People Actually Ask.

How far north does mobile bumper repair go?

San Clemente. Bumper work runs from San Clemente south, which is a shorter reach than our paintless dent route, and the reason is time on site. A refinish means masking, mixing, spraying, and letting the panel cure in your driveway, so it is a much longer commitment than a dent repair. Paintless dent repair goes further north, up to Laguna Niguel.

How much does mobile bumper repair cost?

A bumper dent with the paint intact runs $250 to $300, because nothing is refinished and color never enters the price. A corner scuff or scrape runs $395 to $600, following the color, the depth, and whether the plastic is punctured or torn. Cracks or a full bumper refinish run $550 to $750. Every quote comes from photos of your actual bumper.

Can you really match my paint in a driveway?

Yes, and the color comes from your vehicle paint code rather than a guess by eye. The variable is not the driveway, it is the finish. A flat color is straightforward. A tri-coat or a pearl takes more stages, which is why those quotes run higher. The match gets checked in direct light before you pay, because direct light is where a bad blend shows itself.

What do you need at my location?

Level ground, room to work around the corner of the vehicle, and shelter from wind and direct sun. A garage or a covered driveway is ideal. Wind carries dust into wet paint and direct sun changes how the finish flashes off, so both affect the result rather than only the comfort.

How long does it take?

A bumper dent with no refinish is one to two hours. A corner scuff is two to four hours. Cracks or a full refinish run three to four hours. The paint needs time to flash and cure, so the vehicle stays put for the appointment rather than being driven mid-job.

Is this cheaper than a body shop?

On the repair itself, usually, and the gap widens once you count what a body shop costs you around the edges. A shop takes the car for days, which is a rental and time off work, and the repair can land on the vehicle history report. Mobile bumper work happens at your house and finishes the same day.

Do you fix cracked and torn bumpers, or only scuffs?

Both. Cracks are bonded from behind so the structure is restored before any filler or color goes on, which is the step a rushed repair skips. What we do not do is hide a structural crack under paint and hand it back. If a bumper is beyond repair and needs replacing, you will be told that instead of sold a refinish that fails in a year.

Do you cover Dana Point and Laguna Niguel for bumper work?

Not for bumper repair. That is paintless dent repair territory, which runs from Laguna Niguel south. The bumper route starts at San Clemente. If you are north of San Clemente with bumper damage, send photos anyway and you will get a straight answer rather than a booking we cannot keep.

What about scratches that are not on the bumper?

Panel scratch repair is its own job and we do it, but it is priced and handled differently from bumper plastic because a metal panel behaves nothing like a plastic cover. Send photos of what you have and the reply will tell you which repair it actually is.
