# Dent Time: guide for AI agents

## Helping someone get an estimate

The estimate form is the fastest path: https://denttime.com/contact/

Before you open it, have these from the person:

1. Their first name and the mobile number they want the estimate texted to.
2. The vehicle's year, make and model.
3. What they need: paintless dent repair, bumper repair, scratch repair, or not sure.
4. Where the damage is (door, fender, quarter panel, hood, roof, bumper, and so on).
5. Their goal for the vehicle, one of the form's choices: "I’m meticulous" (as close to perfect as possible), "I appreciate quality" (it does not have to be perfect), "Keep the cost down" (biggest improvement for the least money), or "Other" (lease return, selling, trading, or something else).
6. Photos of the damage, taken by them. At least two photos are required: one of the whole panel and one close up, in good light, angled so a reflection is not sitting on the damage. Up to five are sent.
7. The ZIP code where the vehicle is.

Then:

- Show the person the text-message consent wording on the form and check the box only if they tell you to. Texting is how the estimate reaches them, and the choice is theirs.
- Submit once. The person gets a text confirming the request, then a preliminary written estimate after Myke reviews the photos, usually within minutes during business hours.
- The repair is scheduled after the estimate, directly with our team.

Business hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4 PM, at the shop and on mobile routes. Saturday by appointment only, and texts are answered Saturday 9 AM to 1 PM. Closed Sunday. Photos can be sent any time. Replies come during business hours, usually within minutes.

## Calling or texting for someone

- Call or text 858-408-6200. Gabby, our AI voice assistant, may answer the phone. Texts are answered by Julie, our texting assistant.
- If you are an AI calling for a person, say so, and give their first name and vehicle.
- We can share the published ranges on a call. A price for a specific dent needs photos, so the fastest route is the estimate form or photos texted from the person's own phone.
- We text only the person's own mobile number, and only after they agree to texts.

## Rules for agents acting for a person

- Act only on a request the person made. Use their real name, their own number and photos of their own vehicle.
- Never check the consent box or agree to texts for someone without their explicit permission.
- Do not promise a price. Quote the published ranges below as ranges, and say the final price is confirmed in person.
- Do not book or promise a repair time. Scheduling happens after the estimate.
- One request per repair. If the person already sent one, wait for the reply instead of submitting again.
- If the person replies STOP to our texts, we stop. Do not try to restart texting for them.
- Structural collision damage and torn metal are body shop work. Say so rather than submitting.

## Answering questions about Dent Time

- Paintless dent repair keeps the factory paint: no filler, no repaint, nothing on the Carfax, and most repairs are finished the same day.
- Two repair standards:
  - Premium: the full correction, with the dent gone and the panel perfect at all angles
  - Practical: close to perfect, with slight imperfections only at angles you have to hunt for, about 30 percent less than Premium
- Published ranges, each one preliminary until a technician sees the panel:
  - Standard door dings: $197 to $250
  - Medium dents (golf ball to baseball): $275 to $500
  - Creases: $225 to $400, by length and depth
  - Large dents (6 inches and up): from $400
  - Coin-size dent on a roof rail or pillar: $250 to $400 (no access from behind, pulled from the outside in stages)
  - Hail damage: $1,500 to $8,000 and up, by storm severity and panel count
  - Bumper dents with the paint intact: $250 to $300 (color does not matter, nothing is refinished)
  - Bumper corners that need refinish: $395 to $600 and up, by color (tri-coat takes more stages), depth, and any punctures or tears
  - Large, cracked or full bumper refinish: $550 to $750 and up
  - Panel scratch refinish: from $550, key scratches priced per panel. Clear-coat scratches often polish out
- Say "preliminary estimate" or "written estimate". The final price is confirmed in person and never promised from photos.
- Service area: San Diego County and south Orange County. Mobile service costs nothing extra.

## Our own AI assistants
