PDR is now PCR – Paintless Collision Removal

I don’t know why I can’t control my passion for PDR? I should say, “no” to a lot of the beyond the “normal” dents. Fortunately though it seemed to pay off. People these days are on a tighter budget and looking to save as much money as possible.

Most people want to only fix their cars if they have to or it’s too obvious to live with. That’s why I believe our trade is raising the bar about paintless dent removal. PDR is now getting into the Paintless “Collision” Removal a.k.a. PCR.

I have a few reasons for doing big dents. Obviously the first reason is the money. But what really drives me to do bigger dents is the self satisfaction. Knowing I can do the big dents and finish… And it pays off.

PDR LED Light Review | Paintless Dent Repair

Hello, my name is Myke Toledo. I wanted to share some of my thoughts about the latest PDR LED Lights that are available. Now, I was not able to review every LED light made from other PDR companies. I understand I left some out but this is based on my own purchases and what seemed to interest me at the time.

Since I have been in the PDR industry, the development and innovation of lighting has come a long way.Portability, weight and efficiency seem to be the main stream of the new PDR lights. And added to those benefits are now LED lighting. My latest review will be about some common PDR light stands, LED reflections and even a cordless LED light option. So join me as I share my findings and hope you find this review interesting.

’93 Mazda V8 Chevy Corvette Motor | Dent Time Ride a Long | Auto Reconditioning San Diego

I wanted to have a little variety when it comes to you having my visitors see my site. What makes things more interesting than cars? Oh but this car isn’t what it appears. It’s a ’93 Mazda RX7 with a brand new Corvette ZO6 Motor. During the film shooting, I almost lost my lightest camera. It had so much toque, it jerked my camera loose.

With over 450 horses to the rear, this car was stupid fast! I had more fun in that car than I would on Space Mountain at Disneyland. Mark Mozafarrian was the owner (who is actually selling this car). We filmed for 4 hours racing up and down the streets on a Saturday. And just in case you were wondering, we did not jeopardize the safety of anyone else.

It took Mark about 8 months to fully restore this bad boy back to life. All restored back to new and better. The paint job on this thing is beautiful. No obvious orange peel – it really looks factory. Now I did do some paintless dent removal on this when it was in the auto recon mode but at the time, I didn’t have camera of any sort on me.

Anyhow, check it out and let me know what ya think?

I Love What I Do – That’s It.

With today’s fast changing auto reconditioning market, it’s important I keep my website current for all type of users, visitors and potential customers. I have been working on the new Dent Time site in the back end (Not Released Yet) for awhile now and I think I finally like what I have been doing. Very dynamic but not as flashy as my current site. Functionality is my goal and not too busy.

My direction that I am going with Dent Time will be a combination of my other sites I have built. Training downloads, products to purchase, videos and a full paid membership page that users can watch exclusive videos about pdr training. I don’t have a release date set yet. I know better to do that to myself.

People ask me if I have a team of people that create my websites, produce my videos, design my ads, do my marketing and run my company? The answer “was” yes 3 years ago. The answer today is NO. Why? Because nobody on a consistent bases could have the passion about how I wanted my company to look, act and represent better than myself. Now sure, I can still hire a team of people to take over my tasks of everything and give myself more time to just sit around and do nothing.. But it’s not about that. It’s about “I love what I do.” I love to fix dents, I love to market my own company, I love to produce and edit my own videos, I love to create my own websites and I just love what I do.. PERIOD. I can’t help it.

My belief is if you are not passionate about what you do in regards to any job or business you own, then get out. Your wasting your time. Learn to be creative, learn to learn and you will grow. A business is not just about making money.. it’s only a tool. Until most people get that meaning, they will always constantly battle the up and down motivations. You just have to ask yourself one question.. Do I love what I do?
